Horsforth company partners with cancer support charity

This February the team at Futures Horsforth are putting their best foot forward to raise money for a charity supporting people living with cancer.

Recruitment specialists Futures is partnering with Maggie’s Yorkshire, which provides free practical and emotional support for people living with cancer.

Colleagues will be tracking steps throughout February as they “travel” from the Highlands to the South Coast, stopping virtually at each UK Maggie’s Centre along the way.

Heena Panesar, Director at Futures, said: “Maggie’s and the incredible work they do have become very special to all of us at Futures. They provide free, expert care and support both in-person and online for those with cancer and their loved ones.

“After visiting the centre, we can truly say that Maggie’s Yorkshire at St Jame’ss University Hospital is an amazing space. It felt like a tranquil oasis compared to the usual clinical environment of a hospital. This is a fantastic cause for us to support, and the steps challenge is just the beginning of our fundraising efforts!”
