Villagers in Calverley are being encouraged to donate food items to those in need during Coronavirus lockdown.

Community project Creative Calverley is working alongside Pudsey Community Project, based at Pudsey Parish Church, who are the main hub for the outer West area.

Collections are now being taken at New Inn, Carr Road, 10am until 12pm every Saturday.

Details of Pudsey Community Project are available here. At the same time and venue you can also donate unwanted laptops and ipads for the Digital Access West Yorkshire Project, which is helping adults and children to get online by giving them digital access.

Calverley Parish Church is also a collection point 10am until 11am each Wednesday for the Trussell Trust’s Bradford North Foodbank.
