Armley and Bramley residents are being urged to get green-fingered in Gotts Park’s rose garden this weekend.

The Friends of Armley and Gotts Park group is running a practical session of planting garlic, litter picking and drinking tea – and is encouraging new people to come forward and help. The Sunday Practical session runs on February 10 from 10am-noon. A group spokesperson said:

“Come and meet the team, find of about our events for the year and how you can help and get involved in our friendly group.”
