The Co-op Village Store in Farsley has been given the green light to operate an overnight alcohol delivery service.
The store, on Town Street, will continue to close daily at 11pm and reopen at 6am the following day. The licensing application was approved by Leeds City Council yesterday and will would allow the shop to sell alcohol between 11pm and 6am via online delivery only.
There had been one objection to the proposal, expressing concerns of late-night disturbance.
Representations were withdrawn ahead of the meeting and the licence was granted as applied for, subject to conditions agreed with West Yorkshire Police. Conditions include CCTV on the premises, proof of ID and a Challenge 25 age policy.
The reports and other documentation from the council’s licensing sub-committee can be read here.
