Sunnybank Mills managing director John Gaunt is swimming the Channel – with a difference – to raise money for a charity.
Mr Gaunt is looking to swim 22 miles in 12 weeks as part of the Aspire Channel Swim fundraiser.
Aspire supports people with spinal cord injury to help them live full, independent lives.
Mr Gaunt said:
“This is this first small step in fulfilling a bucket list ambition of swimming the real channel (in relay!)”
