What time do Farsley’s Christmas Lights switch on?

Let there be light! Farsley Christmas lights switch on will take place tomorrow – Wednesday, 25 November.

The parade through the village will assemble at Farsley Library from 6pm, with the parade itself starting at 6.30pm, going down to the cenotaph and around the back of The Green, back up Town Street to the Charles Street car park near Sunnybank Mills.

At about 7pm the lights will be switched on outside Dawson Wake estate agents in Town Street. A fireworks display from the car park of Farsley Community Church will light up the sky afterwards.

Motorists are warned there may be traffic disruption between 4.30pm and 8pm. The road between Farsley Library and the cenotaph will close between 6-8pm.

Volunteers are welcome to help out on the night – meet at 6pm at the library.
