Farsley: Calverley Lane to close for road maintenance works

The next stage of roadworks through Farsley will start on Calverley Lane, between Bagley Lane and Lees Lane, later this month.

Work is due to start on Monday, 18 February for three weeks. Two weeks will be to carry out footway repairs, followed by one week of carriageway resurfacing.

The footway works can be carried out on temporary lights to maintain access. The resurfacing works however will need to be carried out under a road closure.

ALl work will take place outside of peak traffic times, Monday to Friday between 9.30am–3.30pm.

Last month Farsley Town Street was closed during daytime hours for over a week to allow for maintenance work to be carried out.
