The body of a 17-year-old boy was recovered from the River Aire in the early hours of this morning.
Paramedics were called to a stretch of the river near Cardigan Fields, off Kirkstall Road, at 6.45pm last night (Tuesday, June 26) after the teenager was seen getting in.
The police helicopter, officers, paramedics and firefighters were all called to the scene.
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
