Bramley Festival 2019 is set to draw the crowds to Bramley Park this weekend. One of the organisers, Stephen McBarron, has all the details of this year’s fun-packed event …

This year’s festival is on Sunday 18th August at Bramley Park, from noon until 5pm.

Leeds Rhinos Star Jamie Jones Buchanan will be performing the opening ceremony on the main stage.

A packed programme for the day includes popular singer Lindsey Farrow, a Steel Band and the Dazl Dance Group. The event also sees the return of the annual Bramley’s Got Talent show in front of a judging panel including the three local ward councillors.

The Marshall Waddington FunFair will be running alongside and will also be open on Saturday, 17th August.

The Festival features free donkey rides, face painting and bouncy castles, together with food vendors, information stalls from local groups and organisations and a wide variety of local traders.

Don’t miss the Fire Show on the Main Stage at 2pm. Lots of other free activities including sports to try out, demonstrations, presentations and Police and Fire Engine displays.

Entry is free and the organisers would like to thank the event sponsors including Leeds City Council, Bramley Neighbourhood Housing Team and local groups who work behind the scenes for many months to make the event happen.

We’re looking forward to a great day with something on offer for everyone. All welcome!
