Bramley: £115,000 roofing works approved at Whitecote Primary School

Building work to improve the roofing at Whitecote Primary School in Bramley has been given the green lighgt.

A Leeds City Council report has authorised the maintenance work at a cost of £115,041 and has awarded the contract to Huddersfield-based SBS Roofing Ltd.

The report says the work is part of a programme of important council-funded maintenance work at schools across Leeds.

It says any asbestos removal will be carried out outside school hours by specialist contractors following surveys carried out before work starts.
