Fancy checking out life at community led Kirkstall Valley Farm – and beating the January blues?
The first farm open day of the year will feature various clearing out, building, fixing and sorting jobs to get involved with.
Farm volunteers will be providing lunch cooked on the farm and hot drinks.Â

Kirkstall Valley Farm is the community farm of community organisation Kirkstall Valley Development Trust (KVDT).
Part of the Community Supported Agriculture network (CSA), the farm supplies weekly fresh veg to the community through a Harvest Share Membership Scheme, supporting the maintenance of the land and offers opportunities for people to get involved and learn new skills.
The farm is also used for various KVDT community events and activities throughout the year. It is based off Kirkstall Road, next to the side entrance of Ready Steady Store.Â
