A care worker at Paisley Lodge Care Home in Armley is celebrating the completion of his Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship

Eric Mahoudou has worked at the Orchard Care Home since 2018 as a care assistant and is keen to take full advantage of the company’s newly launched Career Pathway initiative, offering him opportunities to progress into senior management.

Eric is already looking forward to enrolling onto a Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship and said:

“It’s great to work for a company that recognises my enthusiasm to learn and offers me opportunities to advance my career in the care sector.”

Lucy Gradwell, Acting Manager at Paisley Lodge, is delighted with Eric’s progress.

“Eric has joined the Orchard Academy and is embarking on our Step-Up to Senior programme. Over the coming weeks, he will be supported to enhance his care skills, gaining a greater understanding of person-centred care and experiencing key areas of the senior role.

“We would like to wish Eric every success in his career progression and are thrilled to support him to achieve his career goals.

Paisley Lodge is based in Hopton Mews in Armley.
