Plans to change a betting shop on Armley Town Street into a shop and a hot food takeaway have been submitted to Leeds City Council.
Mr K Mehmood, of Model Avenue, has applied for change of use and subdivision of Coral betting office to into one retail unit and one hot food takeaway, with new shop fronts.

Meanwhile, plans to change a retail unit into a new restaurant at 15-17 Branch Road in Armley have been withdrawn by the applicant, Mr N Naeem, of Model Road.
We don’t need another takeaway in armley Town Street, as from Sizzlers at the top end to Papa John’s at the back of the malt shovel we have roughly 20 takeaways. Far to many.
