FC Farsley slipped to a 3-2 defeat in their penultimate pre-season friendly against a lively Bardsey side.
Another warm July evening on a dry and rock hard pitch made playing decent football difficult for both teams.
The more experienced Bardsey side used their physicality to good advantage and proved stronger over the 90 minutes.
Farsley took the lead on 18 minutes, with Bojas slotting home on the rebound following a decent save from the Bardsey keeper.
Despite further Farsley chances, the home side took advantage of defensive lapses to lead 2-1 at half time.
Farsley, fresh from their first-ever goals and win on Saturday at Ealandians, pulled level on 63 minutes, with Beetham tucking home the loose ball.
But Bardsey regained the lead just four minutes later, following a mistake from Farsley keeper Toronscak.
Despite late Farsley pressure the home side held on for the win.
Farsley will be happy to have another game under their belt as players increase their fitness, and the team continues to build understanding and style of play. They complete their pre-season fixtures with a trip to Otley Town on Saturday.
