Would you like to perform in Bramley Variety Show 2020?

A socially distanced Bramley Variety Show will be held just before Christmas to lift spirits – and people from Bramley are invited to perform their party piece.

The show will be streamed online on 20 December with acts performing for up to three minutes from their own homes. Individuals and families are welcome.

Bramley Variety Producer Jessica Bowie said:

“We need to find the fun that’s been missing from our lives, and we are asking local people to help us find it. We’re inviting local people to step forward and offer to perform a party-trick at the event, as we know there are plenty of people out there, young and older, with a good joke to tell, a tune to perform, or a magic trick up their sleeves. Please get involved and bring back the festive fun that we’re used to.”

Bramley Community Centre Manager Fran Graham said:

“This Christmas, there’s more reason than ever to get together and share some festive spirit and FUN. We’re hoping to uncover more of what makes our area really special, and more of the hidden talent that we know exists here. The best christmas shows involve the audience, so get ready for a really fun interactive evening to remember.”

In the run-up to the live zoom show, Bramley Variety will be running online workshops for anyone who would like to perform, but would also like some help polishing up their act and feeling more confident about taking part.

The show is a Bramley Community Centre event funded by the Inner West Community Committee.
