Major highway/drainage improvements were due to start today on a mile-long stretch of a busy Pudsey Road.
Work is scheduled to run well into next year on kerb, footway and drainage improvements on Roker Lane, between Tong Lane and Littlemoor Road.
The work will be followed by carriageway resurfacing and is provisionally scheduled for completion in April 2022.
Council highways engineers will be working 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend working. Some delays may be encountered on the road.
