Stanningley Road: Police appeal after ‘woman in distress’

Police are appealing for information after a report of a woman in distress near Gotts Park off Stanningley Road in Armley on New Year’s Eve.

The woman had light-coloured hair and was with a man who was described as olive skinned, possibly an Asian male wearing a dark-coloured hooded top. 

The woman was spotted just before 9pm.

Anybody with any information about either the man or woman should contact police via 101 quoting reference 1356 of December 31.
