Stanningley Fire Station open day raises charity cash

On the 16th of July, 12-4pm, Stanningley Fire Station will be holding its first open day, writes Craig Kettlewell.

This is to raise money for the Firefighters Charity and Marie Curie.

Included on the day will be:

  • Displays from the Fire Service
  • Children’s rides and bouncy castle
  • Refreshments and cake sale
  • Market stalls
  • Freddie, the ride-on fire engine
  • Plus much more!

We are also aiming to raise money for the Firefighters Charity and Marie Curie by completing the Bradford Millennium Way Walk, 45 miles, in one day. Any contribution to our efforts will be gratefully appreciated.
