Dear Team Kirkstall,
Join us tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am for another great riverbank clean-up! Also – our next and final cleanup of the year is on 24th November – and the final event of the year is our Christmas party on Friday, 8th December! Please join us.
We will be meeting at the canal-side carpark on Canal Road, Armley, and in the morning we will be installing bird-boxes on the trees in the woods by the canal.
We will also be tackling lingering debris and heading down to Armley Mills Museum to make sure the weir is free of larger debris and litter.
We will be working until 2pm and then we’re taking everybody for lunch afterwards – please join us as it’s a great way to end a good day and say thank you to everybody who has pitched in and given up their time to work hard cleaning up the river and its banks.
All safety equipment is provided and full safety talk and tool talk will be given at the start of the session. the only thing you need is clothing appropriate for the weather and strong footwear (preferably wellies).
