An application for a licence to sell alcohol and the performance of music and dance at the World’s End pub in Pudsey has been submitted.

The pub has applied for a licence between 8am and 12 midnight each day.

The World’s End hit the news in September last year when Mark Neave had his licence revoked due to police concerns about anti-social behaviour at the pub, including a firearms incident. The pub then opened 11am to 12 midnight daily.

The new applicant is MCT Pubs Ltd, which is a public limited company incorporated on 14 December 2016. Companies House lists Michael Thornton as its sole director and shareholder.

The application can be viewed and commented upon on Leeds City Council’s website. The application is open for comment until February 13.
