Pudsey scouts hold more collections as town rallies for Ukraine appeal

A scout group in Pudsey collecting items to help people in the Ukraine has announced two further collection.

First Pudsey Scout group has already held a number of successful collections during the past month – and will hold further collections on Wednesday 13 and 20 April at Pudsey Wellbeing Centre on Robin Lane. They will run from 1pm to 3pm.

1st Pudsey Scout Group Treasurer Roger Ellingham said the town had rallied behind the appeal and added:

“We had another good collection on Sunday. Three more car loads of donations. We are planning a lorry at the end of the month, so after Easter will be very hectic.”
