More than 40 people of all ages have discovered more about servicemen buried in Pudsey Cemetery.

The Living Memory Project at Pudsey Cemetery explored Pudsey’s past by mapping and recording war graves.

Three groups, including members of the local Boys Brigade, searched the cemetery for the 47 First and Second World War graves after being given a history of Pudsey’s wartime involvement.

A question and answer session, pictured above, was also held with Community Engagement Manager, Glenn Hearnden.

The event was organised by the local Royal British legion branch and was part of the Commonwealth War Grave Commission Living Memory Project.
