A elderly man suffered serious injuries after being injured in a hit and run incident off Leeds and Bradford Road in Stanningley.
Police are appealing for information after the incident took place at about 9.05pm on Friday, January 13 at the junction of Leeds Bradford Road and Swinnow Lane.
The man was crossing the road when he was struck by a motor vehicle which subsequently failed to stop. He is currently being treated in hospital
The vehicle travelled from Leeds Bradford Road at the junction with the Halfway House public house and turned right onto Swinnow Lane and then left on to Broad Lane.
