The Bentley Drains Priestley Cup reaches its climax as two of Bradford League’s fiercest local rivals go head-to-head in a mouth-watering semi-final.
New Farnley welcome Pudsey St Lawrence to The Barry Jackson Ground on Sunday, 5 July, with a coveted place in the Priestley Cup Final at Lightcliffe on Sunday, 16 August awaiting the winners. With local pride, silverware and bragging rights all on the line, this promises to be an afternoon of top-class cricket.
These two proud clubs have produced some memorable battles over the years, and another classic is expected as they leave everything out on the field in pursuit of one of Yorkshire cricket’s most prestigious trophies.
Every run, wicket and catch could prove decisive in what promises to be a fiercely contested encounter between two talented sides.
The action begins at 12pm, and with free admission. There will also be a delicious BBQ serving freshly grilled burgers and hot dogs, along with a fully stocked bar offering ice-cold beers, wines and refreshments throughout the day.
