What a fantastic few days youngsters had at the recent New Farnley Cricket Club Summer Camp!
The experienced coaching team put together a variety of exciting drills, games and match scenarios, ensuring there was something for everyone, regardless of ability or experience.
Whether the children were picking up a cricket bat for the first time or looking to develop their existing skills, every participant threw themselves into the activities with great enthusiasm and a fantastic attitude.
A spokesperson said: “It was brilliant to see so many boys and girls enjoying themselves, learning new skills and making new friends in a fun, safe and welcoming environment. From the very first ball to the final session, the enthusiasm, effort and smiles on display made the camp a huge success.
“The biggest reward for everyone involved was seeing the children leave each day with smiles on their faces, full of confidence and already asking when they could come back!
“It was wonderful to watch new friendships form and see each player grow in confidence throughout the camp. A huge thank you goes to all the parents and guardians for their support, and to Jack Lonsdale and the coaching team for delivering another outstanding summer camp.”
There’s still another opportunity to get involved, as the second summer camp takes place from Monday, 17 August 2026 to Wednesday, 19 August 2026.
