Former pubs in Armley and Pudsey could become homes

Two former West Leeds pubs could become homes after planning applications were submitted.

The Ivy Hotel, in Valley Road, Pudsey, could be transformed into two houses after closing down earlier this year. The plans, by Mr J Bastow, include a rear extension and transforming the pub’s car park into gardens.

And the former Rose and Crown pub in Armley Road could be home to six flats, if plans are approved.

Applicant Daniel Forshaw wants to change the building, which was most recently a domestic
appliance repair shop, into flats with a two storey extension added.
