Have your say on new playground for Horsforth Hall Park

Council chiefs are seeking views on plans for a new playground at Horsforth Hall Park.

Proposals include an upgraded sandpit area, an expanded toddler play area, as well as replacements for the old equipment.

Maths-themed features and activities are also planned throughout the play area, with funding generously supplied by The Centre for Innovation in Voluntary Action, the City of Maths, and the Richmond Project.

Work is expected to start in September, with the play area intended to open in 2027.

To give your views on what you like and don’t like about the playground, and if there is anything in particular you’d like to see included, please email Victoria.Nunns@leeds.gov.uk before Friday, 13 April.

Councillors Emmie Bromley, John Galvani and (Labour, Horsforth) said: “We are delighted to support the proposed new maths themed playground. A perfect opportunity for those squeaky swings to be replaced, as so many of you have reported to us!

“We would encourage residents and visitors to have a say in the design and features, so please do respond to the consultation and help us to make Horsforth Hall Park an exciting place to play for our local children.”
