A group of volunteers campaigning to restore the steamroller that stood in Pudsey Park from 1959 to 1990 have announced their latest fundraiser in Farsley. Brian Woolhouse has the details …

Friends of Pudsey Roller are having another one of its Transport & Steam nights on Thursday 3rd May 2018 at the Farsley Liberal Club. The night is called Amazing Railways and their Trains.

Presently the Roller has been taken away from the site in Leeds, where the preliminary work had been started, and is now in the hands of the Road Roller Association in Cambridgeshire to start the next stage of its development.
