Farnley residents are being urged to take a pride in where they live by joining the first community litter pick.
The event is being run via the new Farnley Litter Pickers – Keeping Farnley Tidy Facebook group, which has been set up by Farnley resident Peter Allison and is part of the Litter Free Leeds network of community litter pickers.
The event will run next Saturday, August 14, from 11am to 1.30pm, with volunteers meeting at Old Farnley Community Centre.
The pick will focus on the Bawns, Stoncliffes, Stonebridges and Whincovers. Other areas will be picked in due course.
