Pick up your trowel and join Farsley in Bloom’s first planting day

A newly formed group of volunteers aiming to put the flower power back into Farsley have wasted no time in setting up their first event.

Farsley in Bloom was only formed after its first public meeting earlier this month – and has this week announced its first event: a planting day at Farsley WMC on Back Lane.

Farsley residents are invited to bring along a trowel and plant some seeds on March 19 from 12 noon.

The group aims to make Farsley look blooming great in the summer and foster community pride in the village.

More details about the event available here.
