Farsley Festival organisers have postponed the popular annual event due to the coronavirus outbreak – but hope to hold it later in the year.
The event is held in Hainsworth Park and brings the community together to celebrate the best the village has to offer. A spokesperson said:
“For obvious reasons Farsley Festival won’t take place on Saturday 27th June this year.
“We are gutted but hopeful we can postpone/reschedule the festival once it is safe to do so and have a big old celebration in Farsley.”
It’s not yet known what form any re-arranged festival could take if it iwas re-arranged.
