A Kirkstall community project is appealing for volunteers to help with a number of events this weekend (18-19 September 2021).
Kirkstall Valley Development Trust (KVDT) is asking people to make a difference to their community at these events:
Saturday 18 September, 9.45am-5pm
Volunteers are needed to help with the children’s activities as part of Heritage Week at Kirkstall Forge.
Sunday 19 September, 8.30am – 1.30pm
Can you help at for the Harvest Festival service? The service will start at 10am, followed by refreshments. We need volunteers to help set up for the event, help to serve drinks after the service, and help clear away once the event ends.
Sunday 19th September, 1pm – 4.30pm
Can you spare some time to talk to people about our Kirkstall Valley Farm and promote the Harvest Share Membership scheme at the Headingley Car Free Street Fair this Saturday? No knowledge of the farm needed, information will be provided.
