A Wortley woman has organised a team of 20 people to jump 15,000 feet on Sunday to raise funds for a cancer support organisation.
Maggie’s offers free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their families and friends.
Katherine Turner is doing the jump at Hibaldstow airfield. She said:
“I don’t have a personal story with cancer but have seen so many friends lose loved ones to cancer. Maggies are opening a centre at St James’s Hospital. Every penny counts.”
