Winners will be announced at a Calverley ‘Big Lunch’ event on Saturday, 10 September.
The Big Lunch is a get-together for neighbours and is an idea from the Eden Project which encourages people across the UK to come together for a few hours of food, friendship and fun.
The initiative aims to create stronger, friendlier communities in which people start to share things, from conversation and ideas to skills and resources.
The theme is ‘Roald Dahl’ and events have been organised at Calverley Methodist Church Hall, Calverley Library and The Barn (near Calverley Parish Church). More details here.
