Bramley & Stanningley local election result 2022: Ritchie holds for Labour updated

Kevin Ritchie comfortably held his Bramley and Stanningley Ward seat for Labour at this year’s Leeds City Council elections.

The count was held today in the First Direct Arena in Leeds following voting on Thursday.

Cllr Ritchie received 3,730 votes, well ahead of Conservative candidate Adam Cook on 819 votes.

Here are the results:

Turnout was 27.6%.

Note: Leeds City Council have since updated the candidate total for the Conservatives’ Adam Cook following the original declaration of the result this morning. Mr Cook secured 819 votes, not 319 as first declared.

  1. Congratulations Kevin, a very hard-working local Councillor who can always be relied on, and really knows his community. The only Labour candidate I would ever vote for!

  2. Congratulations Kevin well done. Don’t normally vote Labour but have witnessed your hard work in this community which made my mind up. If only others would learn from your from your standards.
