Bramley Baths set to relaunch community garden – updated

Update: The event has been rescheduled to Friday, 17 April.

Original post: Bramley Baths is set to relaunch its spruced up community garden at a special plant ‘swap shop’ event later this month.

The event will celebrate the work at the community garden, which sits at the side of the Grade II Listed Baths building. Members of the community are invited to attend.

A Baths spokesperson said: “No need to book – just come along and join us for a garden ‘swap shop’ – bring your surplus plants, seeds and bits and bobs from your shed or greenhouse to swap with other gardeners and potterers.

“There’ll be a craft activity for children and a ribbon cutting to open the garden and welcome in spring and summer activity. You can even bring your own picnic – fingers crossed for good weather!”

The Baths is also hoping to form a volunteer gardening group.

The garden relaunch event takes place on Saturday, 11 April, 10am to 11.30am.

Bramley Baths is a community owned leisure facility on Broad Lane.
