West Leeds Dispatch is teaming up with our friends at Bramley Baths to run a new community reporters’ course – with a twist.
As well as learning how to tell the story of what’s happening in their community, people living in West Leeds are being encouraged to help tell the story of the beloved community led Baths, capture its rich history and successes – and help report on its future.
Our free beginners’ course will equip you with basic skills in photography, interviewing, writing articles, where to find news, ethics and podcasting. They’re led by experienced journalist John Baron and no previous experience is necessary.
You would be very welcome to join us and make a difference in your community! WLD aims to shine a light on local issues, success stories and positive initiatives from where you live.
