Would you like to become a community reporter for West Leeds Dispatch – and help tell the story of community led Bramley Baths?
Our next free, friendly and fun community reporters’ course starts at the Broad Lane Baths on Tuesday, June 16, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The course runs for five, weekly sessions until 14 July.
As well as learning how to tell the story of what’s happening in the community, people living in West Leeds are also encouraged to help tell the story of the beloved Grade II Listed Baths, capture its rich history and successes – and help report on its future.
Our free beginners’ course will equip you with basic skills in photography, interviewing, writing articles, where to find news, ethics and podcasting. They’re led by experienced journalist John Baron and no previous experience is necessary.
