Plans to install two self-service car wash bays next to a convenience store in Wortley have been submitted to Leeds City Council.
Applicant Paul McFadden, of Burley-based McFadden Developments, wants to build the car washes on part of the store’s car park off Lower Wortley Road. All seven parking spaces will be retained.
In November, WLD reported that Mr McFadden’s plans were approved for block of 15 flats for young adults with assisted living needs on scrubland behind the store.
