New planters are helping Farsley look blooming great!
The planters, against the wall by the Farsley Dentist on Bagley Lane, are the result of volunteers from the Farsley in Bloom group, which is aiming to improve the look of the village and increase community pride.
The group posted on Facebook:
“We’re passionate that we keep the heritage feel of wooden planters where we can across the village and this is a great example.
“If local businesses are interested in sponsoring a planter, please drop us a message or email.
“We will also be starting fundraising for a mural after Christmas. This will cost around £2,500 and the three Farsley primary schools will be asked to input into the design. We can’t feature permanent sponsorship on the mural but it will be a one off, a real talking point for the village and we hope be truly representative of Farsley – an amazing local community!”
