Looking for something to do in West Leeds with the kids this May half-term school holiday? Community reporter Keely Bannister has put together a guide of some of the activities available to you and your children!

All details are correct at the time of publication. We encourage you to always double check before you travel.

Abbey House Museum

Armley Little Owls

Activities include, mask making, singing, parachute games and much more. Suitable for children under 5 years but older siblings welcome.

Wednesday 29th May from 10:00am to 11:30am. £1 per child. Booking essential.

Free off =treet car parking is available. Buses 16, 16a, 86 and 86a stop on Wesley Street which is a five minute walk away. Buses 11, 11e, 15 as well as the previously mentioned services stop on Town Street which is a ten minute walk away. Metro bus travel.

Featuring a variety of activities for different ages, the school holiday timetable can be found here. Booking is advisable.

Free off-street car and bicycle parking is available. The 11e bus service stops outside the centre. The 15, 16 and 16a bus services stop on Armley Town Street which is a five minute walk away. The 4 bus service stops on Tong Road which is a five to ten minute walk away. Metro bus travel.

The community-led, not for profit centre for fitness, health and fun have produced a school holiday timetable. Featuring a Pirates Treasure Hunt, family fun swim, inflatable swim and Superheroes swim [words superheroes swim linked to https://westleedsdispatch.com/superheroes-assemble-at-bramley-baths-this-half-term/], every day has something for someone. Booking required for some sessions.
Free on and off street car parking and bicycle parking available at the baths. The 91 bus service stops directly outside the baths. The 16, 16a and 49 bus services all stop within a five – ten minute walk. Metro bus travel.

The registered charity has a number of activities that are fun for kids. These include pond dipping and a mini beast hunt. Due to popularity of some activities, booking is advised.
