Four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes brought their owners to Farnley Hall Park Pride in Place Dog Show this weekend.
Farnley East is part of a 10-year, £20 million UK Government Pride in Place community investment programme. Chaired locally by Jo Gittins, the initiative is currently holding resident consultations to shape how the long-term neighbourhood funding will be spent.
The dog show was part of the community engagement.
Jo Gittins said they had a brilliant response and that it was great to see so many people bring their dogs, who were all getting along.Â
The show allowed the Pride in Place team to raise awareness of the park and their plans for it. They were engaging in a creative consultation to collect people’s ideas to improve the park, including installing a track around the park and a dog park area.
