Look out for purple banners in Bramley and Pudsey – because Bramley Parish Theatre Players’ latest panto hits the stage at Leeds West Academy next month!
Last February, Red Riding Hood and Woody sorted out the Big Bad Wolf, with enthusiastic assistance from every nursery rhyme character you’ve ever heard of.
This year, Puss in Boots will be strutting her stuff, aiming to help the hapless, penniless Miller’s Son to Make His Fortune and Live Happily Ever After.
Can Puss outwit the evil Ogre who will stop at nothing to marry the Princess? Can she secure her own Royal Appointment, with a nice sunlit cushion and personal chef at the Palace – or will she remain a mere mill mouser? (Cat lovers, you know the answer: who gets the poshest food, the best chair and the sunniest spot in your household? Exactly.)
