Rodley Nature Reserve is recruiting for a volunteer to lead its spring and summer visits for uniformed groups.
The reserve is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and energetic person, to lead and manage its popular evening activities for uniformed groups including scouts, brownies, beavers, cubs and rainbows etc.
A spokesperson said the role would involve working with a small team of dedicated volunteers.
“This role would best be suited to someone with good organisational and communication skills, who can spare 2-3 hours twice a week on a an evening, from approximately
5.00pm until 8.00pm, between April and July,” the spokesperson said.
“Rodley Nature Reserve is a great place to volunteer and there is always an opportunity to learn something new. Nothing is more rewarding than being in the great outdoors
and helping young people!”
