Ring Road closed at Rodley Roundabout

A collision between the drivers of a BMW and a people carrier is causing traffic chaos on the dual carriageway from Rodley roundabout to Horsforth roundabout.

According to eyewitnesses, traffic going to Rodley from Horsforth is gridlocked. As of 4.50pm the road is closed from Rodley Roundabout.

Traffic is backing up into Rodley and Pudsey.

One eyewitness said:

“Avoid as it’s taken an hour for me to do what I could walk in five minutes. “

A commenter on social media added:

” Just taken us hour from Horsforth, round through Kirkstall, to get to Rodley.”

It’s not yet known if the drivers of the cars were injured.
