Rachel Reeves MP prepares for Great North Swim

From Bramley Baths to Brockwell Lido – Leeds West MP Rachel Reeves is making a splash in the name of charity.

On the 10th June, Ms Reeves is taking part in the Great North Swim, an open water event held in Lake Windermere, where she will be swimming two miles.

She said:

“I have never done an open water swim before so this will be quite a challenge! My training is taking me from Bramley Baths to Brockwell Lido.”

Rachel will be swimming alongside Leeds councillors Lucinda Yeadon, Jools Heselwood, Jonathan Pryor, Helen Hayden, John Illingworth, Jane Dowson and Adam Ogilvie.

They will be swimming to raise money for St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds.
