What time does this year’s Pudsey Carnival start?

Thousands of people will take to the streets for Pudsey Carnival 2016 on Saturday.

The event will be kickstarted by the parade leaving Queens Park at noon.

Starting at Victoria Road, it passes along Chapletown and through Pudsey Town Centre before returning along Cemetery Road. It’s due to return to Queens Park at 12.45pm, ahead of the grand opening of the carnival at 1pm.

A whole host of events will be held in the main arena – see below for details:

Dozens of community groups from Pudsey and across West Leeds will be having stalls at the event.

This year the fair will again be taking over a large expanse of Queens Park and will be open on Friday evening between 6pm and 9pm and throughout the day on Saturday (from noon until 9pm) and Sunday (2pm until 7pm).

Among the raft of events at Queens Park,there will also be a dog show. Details below:

This year the carnival will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation.
