On Green Hill Lane in Wortley stands an old Victorian building which was once part of a Leeds Corparation water works reservoir.
At various points in its history the building has been a house and a plumbers’ merchants.
Some locals only found out about the underground reservoir when the path collapsed some years ago now.
The area has long since been built on, but I wonder if the residents know what lies beneath their feet?
