Thousands of runners will take to the streets of Leeds on Sunday, May 8 for the Leeds Half Marathon.
The event is being organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, in partnership with Leeds City Council, while the Leeds Fun Run – a 1.2-kilometre family fun run also returns.
The half marathon will start outside the art gallery in Leeds city centre at 9.30am and will be followed by the Arena Group Leeds Fun Run at 10am.
A number of the city’s roads will be closed or have access restricted – in eluding some in Kirkstall and Burley.
The A65 Kirkstall Road, Abbey Road, Commercial Road and Hawksworth Road will be closed to traffic both ways between 8.30am and 1.45pm.
