Kirkstall and Pudsey swimming pools close for maintenance

The swimming pools at Kirkstall and Pudsey leisure centres are set to close while essential maintenance work is carried out.

At Kirkstall, the pool and hot showers won’t be in operation as the centre’s boilers are being replaced between Tuesday, September 1 and Sunday, September 6. Centre staff tweeted today:

It’s a similar situation at Pudsey, with the pool closing tomorrow (Saturday, August 29) and reopening on Monday September 7.

A note on the centre’s Facebook page added:

“Unfortunately we will also have no hot water either in between these periods.

“Swimming lessons will not be taking place either between these periods as this is a scheduled break in the lessons. There will also be no lessons on the 05/09/15 and the 06/09/15 either due to the essential maintenance on the pool. We will hopefully reopen on the 07/09/15

“Your Direct Debit for October will be adjusted accordingly. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. We will keep you updated. Thank you, if you require anymore information please contact 0113 336 7686.”
